St. Bernard Parish Fleur de Lis Print

Starting at:

This is a Fleur de Lis print done for my hometown in St. Bernard Parish, just southeast of New Orleans. St. Bernard was literally wiped out from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It has come a long way since then, but there is still plenty to be done. The print represents some of the places and products of St. Bernard, including the Chalmette Monument at the sight of the Battle of New Orleans, the old Oak Trees with Spanish Moss that line the parish and the plantation homes from the past in dire need of repair. Also depicted is the seafood abundance, an area with a rich history of shrimping and fishing and the best oysters around, whether for sport or folks making a living from the seafood industry. The outline of the Fleur de Lis are the names of the towns and communites that make up the parish of St. Bernard. The print is available in several sizes. It is printed on Ultra Premium Epson Matte Paper with archival ink. It is also available with a mat and in different sizes. Free shipping on this item.
